And where is NYFoodsnob?

cigalechanta Nov 5th, 2004 07:05 PM

I thought snob was m_kingdom????

Ronda Nov 5th, 2004 07:07 PM

His last post that I could find was approximately 9/15/04. Perhaps he is on a trip.

Beatchick Nov 5th, 2004 10:28 PM

Mimi, do you want Capo-san's e-mail?

ec Nov 19th, 2004 05:57 PM

Is Capo still w/ us?

cigalechanta Nov 19th, 2004 06:18 PM

I hope so. Maybe under unother name. I miss him, but can't tell if he's here.

bookchick Nov 19th, 2004 06:20 PM

I don't think he's been posting lately. He mentioned at one point taking a trip to Texas, and I know his dad has been ill, so he may have headed back to his dad's to see him.

Hoping our friend is well, and will return to us soon.

I think some people just find other things to do in their lives and move on.
For whatever reasons.
Some people email Elvira all the time and she never answers those either, I would take that as a hint that she might just want to be left alone.
I would imagine Capo might feel the same.

Beatchick Nov 20th, 2004 06:46 AM

Mimi, his responses are so trademark Capo that you'd have no choice but to know that it was him.

I thought snob was m_kingdom????

PLEASE, tell me you're kidding!

#2 may be a snob (and a lousy writer) but he-she certainly isn't NYCFoodSnob.

ps It's a good thing I'm thick-skinned, even though it's supple and glowing.

annesherrod Nov 20th, 2004 08:07 AM

Hi NYCfoodsnob,
Glad to see you are still visiting the forum. I enjoy your posts! I also miss some of our previous posters from Capo and the like.....

Happy Saturday.

Scarlett Nov 20th, 2004 08:17 AM

LOL, FoodSnob, happy to hear you are Yourself , well, supple and glowing :D

cigalechanta Nov 20th, 2004 08:24 AM

See how you were missed!!
You left an afterglow.

Marilyn Nov 20th, 2004 09:48 AM

Gee, NYCFS, does it require an insult of that magnitude to prompt a post from you? :-D You are MISSED here and even though you are busy, surely you can toss us the occasional bon mot. (There's a pun in there somewhere, but I'm in a hurry this morning.)

I'm sure Capo has not deserted us. He'll be baaaaaack.

NYCFoodSnob Nov 20th, 2004 12:06 PM

Nobody misses that handsome, tuneful hunk, Capo, more than me. My guess is this sexy-cutie-with-a-head-full-of-hair-and-a-special-way-with-words might be serenading a new sweetie. Good enough reason to put off TT if you ask me. Or, maybe he's mourning the loss of Danny (who, rumor has it, left because he couldn't figure out how to fix this site). Capo can be a bit sensitive.

Thank you all for your kind (and funny) words and well wishes. Busy is an understatement. My NY studio is under major reconstruction and unexpected invites (can you believe I went to Little Rock?) have kept me spinning out of one outfit into another. I leave again for Thanksgiving and then again for Christmas and New Year's. Life is fun and good (in spite of NYC's post-election depression).

Marilyn, darling, just the right insult will twist me into roundhouse-kick position and the suggestion that I could even come close to being MK2 is just the insult to help tie my black belt onto my $280 blue jeans. causing self-inflicted banding.

I adore fashion and hang with the best of them and, IMO, MK2 is not in-the-know. I'm happy he-she's got her TT fans, though. Bad taste feels better with company.

I may not have time right now to contribute much but TT is always included in my reading pleasure. Best wishes to you all.
