We are Staying at these 6 Hotels in Italy. Any comments?

My wife and I have decided upon the hotels to stay at this summer while traveling around in Italy. I was wondering if anyone has any experiences or comments related to any of them:
Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees - Stresa
Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi - Camogli (Portofino)
Hotel Lungarno - Florence
Relais La Suvera - Pievescola (Tuscany)
Il Pellicano - Porto Ercole
Hilton Rome Airport - Rome

Good choices? Bad choices? Better choices?
Thanks!!
Steve

Il Pellicano is superb. Service and food are exemplary. Spent hours just watching views, swimming.

Don't forget to sightsee in Grosseto and Porto Ercole

Get explicit directions before you go.

The Hotel Cenobio dei Dogi in Camogli was very nice. We had a wonderful time in this town at this hotel. We asked for a room with a sea view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again.

You're staying at the Rome Airport Hilton because?

You're not really visiting Rome? If so, it's a fine hotel, certainly the best at or near the airport. I'm a little lost why anyone remotely near Rome would choose to stay at the airport, but if that's what you want, you've chosen the best.

Good evening, Steve
Can only speak up on the LUNGARNO
Borgo San Jacopo, 14, which is just
to the left of the south end of the
Ponte Vecchio on the Arno. Have not
stayed there, however have used its
sister hotel the Continental about
eight times since the late 70's It is
a four star hotel with 69 rooms. Excellant location with three good
ristorantes within a block, one just
across the street. Go into www.slh.com/pages/f/flolunga.html.
is a view of the Ponte Vecchio and
the Continental under the green tower
from a river side room of the Lungarno.
Richad of La Grange Park, IL..

Wow Steve, These seem like fabulous choices to me. I know you will have a great time. I assume the Hilton is just a last nite thing for early departure.
Buon viaggio !
