Way off topic: word on the tip of my tongue...
It's an adverb, I think (starts with "s" maybe? ends in "ly"?) and it is used to refer to how we enjoy the experience someone is having by reading about it.
As in, "happy I can enjoy Paris _ _ _ _ _ through you" - - what IS that word? Driving me crazy! Tried thesaurus.com for "proxy" (only meaning I can think of that is related), but to no avail. Someone will know here right away. It gets used here often. Thanks in advance... Best wishes, Rex |
vicariously?

well, it doesn't begin with an s, but are you thinking of "vicariously?"
good luck, Annette |
Hi Rex!
Isn't it great to have a peripheral brain? ;;) |
Yes, exactly. Thank you. And reverse searching it, I see now that I would have found it, if I had used the thesaurus on "substitute", under concept: "alternative".
Thanks again. |
Yes, marcy... though I suggest that this is not a place to ask for verification of drug dosages, huh?
LOL... take care... |
