waterford to Dublin

Does anyone know how long is the drive from Waterford to Dublin? Also any interesting small towns to stop in for lunch?
Thank you in advance for your help!

allow for 2 1/2 driving traffic permitting
go to http://www.european-planner.michelin-travel.com/
for good route planning guide in ireland -and the rest of europe.
visit kilkenny - not on direct route - but well worth the detour - will add 20 mins to drine time

Plan to drive from Waterford to Dublin and stop at Powerscourt to see the Falls. Is it worth it?

Yes The Powerscourt estate is worth stopping at - however it is just outside Dublin so don't use it as a place to break your journey, you might also like to consider stopping at the Avoca Weavers Shop too - it is on the main route. The Waterfalls and the Gardens wil need good weather - at the moment it is miserable here in Ireland - rain, rain and more rain and electrical storms,

Have a good time,

Cathy
