warwick castle -- how long?

Hello,
How much time does it take to tour Warwick Castle without being rushed? Are there gardens to enjoy?
Spent an afternoon there (several hours) a few years ago and would recommend that. Interesting and scenic.
I really enjoyed our visit to the castle. It has a beautiful and big garden to stroll in. The Madaum Tussaud exhibit is also very interesting. Definitely 2 - 3 hours at least.

Hello. We spent a long afternoon, at least 4 hours, but we walked the castle walls and spent time with the musical performers as well as touring the rooms and the wax simulations. Lovely day. But if you are in the area, do get to Blenheim Palace. Spectacular rooms and gardens, and a more real sense of history. The rooms devoted to Winston Churchill are enlightening and quite touching, as is a visit to his gravesite in a tiny churchyard at Bladen, in sight of the palace grounds.Altogether a rewarding experience. Enjoy. Marge

Plan on spending half a day at the castle. There are gardens and they are
full of peacocks. Make sure you climb the stairs to the top of the walls and the towers. Neat place to visit.
