Warsaw Hotel

I'm making a trip to Warsaw next month and need to find a centrally located Hotel within walking distance of the major sights. Could anyone recommend a 4 or 5 star hotel that fits the bill? Thanks!
Dear Claire,

The Bristol Hotel is the best choice, close to everything, and very elegant. It is expensive though. (check out their web site and whether they have any deals.) Another choice is the Europeske Hotel, but the ambiance is typical for the old image of soviet style accomodations.

Have a good trip,

Susan

Have a good trip.

Victoria Hotel is next to old city - check www.orbis.pl for special offers.
Outside this hotel is very plain but inside very comfortable and nice. Great breakfast and restaurant. Bristol is bit expensive, and Europejski (the oldest hotel) shows it's age in some places.

Thanks to everyone for their advice - I checked the Bristol and it looks like they have okay rates if you book in advance so I'll stay there. Thanks again.

The Holiday Inn (4 star) in Warsaw is right downtown. By booking through hotelspoland, we stayed there in April for $55 a night (single room) and $70 a night (total for a double room).
