Warm clothing - Eisriesenwelt
 

We were planning to visit the ice caves at Eisriesenwelt and wanted to check if anyone may be aware of places in Werfen or closeby where we could rent any warm gear for the caves. We are visiting other places in Austria next week and would like to travel light :)

I don't know the answer re rentals, but if you think that just dressing in layers plus a fleece or down vest, gloves and really warm socks won't be enough (all doable while still traveling light) -- What I generally recommend when one-use/special need clothing is required to check out the local charity shops where they would have coats, sweaters, even boots and such. I know there are several in Vienna but you can likely find them in any decent sized city/town. Then when you are done -- you can donate them back.
