Want to Recommend Super B&Bs

Have just returned from three weeks in England and although spent most of that time in self-catering cottages in Cornwall and Cotswolds, want to recommend two super B&Bs we found. One is less than two hours drive from Heathrow, in place called Nether Wallop (village used as setting for Agatha Christie's Miss Marple stories) in Hampshire, just northeast of Salisbury, south of Andover. B&B called The Great Barn, run by Roz Quaife, 42 pounds for twin-bedded room with own bathroom. Beautiful garden, extremely clean, tel: 01264 782142. Great pub - Five Bells Inn and don't miss 11th c. church. Second B&B in Ockley, Surrey. Called Hazels, set in beautiful 2 acre garden, 40 pounds per night (for two) run by Suzie and John Floud, tel: 01306 627228. Also self-contained suite, can sleep four, with own bathroom, fridge and two tvs. Don't miss pub called The Parrot in tiny town of Forest Green 3/4 m. away - order the potato wedges in mushroom sauce and a pint of London Pride. Can e-mail direct if have any other questions about B&Bs or England.
