Want feedback on Maupintour trip to Northern Italy

Has anyone taken the "Palio D'asti & the Italian Harvest" trip with Maupintour. Also, how would you rate Maupintour?

I'll bring your post back up. Sorry I can't give you any feedback.

If no replies soon, you might go to www.travelmb.com. I know there is a category on this message board regarding guided tours, and I'm sure I've seen Maupintour mentioned in at least one post title.

For what it's worth, I did hear on a radio travel show that Maupintour and Taulk or Tauk are very highly regarded.

Hi Lean (and anyone else interested),

Just FYI, that would be "Tauck" tours. I've been a travel agent for 12 years and have never had one client had any complaint about Tauck...they are an EXCELLENT company!

Regards,

Melodie

Neighbors have used Maupintour (tho not recently). They insisted on top of the line and were very pleased.

I have taken 2 European tours with Maupintour - but both were about 20 years ago. One tour was to Switzerland and the other the British Isles, and I thoroughly enjoyed both. We stayed in topnotch hotels for the most part. And there were very nice people on these tours. I would highly recommend, if they are still like they were then. I would also recommend Tauck, although I haven't used them to Europe, only the U.S. I prefer traveling independently at this point, but would certainly use both those tour companies if I decide to ever go the "tour" route again- which I probably will someday!
