Walking distance to St Remy Provence
 

Would appreciate any suggestions for a villa or apartment in St Remy or walking distance (10-15 minutes) I've been searching topics on our Fodor site and others but seem to find a limited number of options for a villa or apt, in or walking distance to St Remy.

We are 4 adults (2 couples) travelling to Provence Oct 2010 (the 15th -22nd) though our dates are flexible. I'm considering Provence Paradise, La Tuilerie, though it may be on the high end. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

about 2 years ago in the spring. It is definitely walking distance into the city of St. Remy, took about 5-6 minutes. The place itself gets high marks on tripadvisor and we thought it was clean and appropriate for our needs, included breakfast which was OK. The English couple who run it were somewhat cold though, the place itself is fairly new but there were not many "Provence-typical" type atmosphere. But the price was good and it could be a spot for you.

We stayed at Chateau des Alpilles on the outskirts--an enjoyable walk into the center of town.
