Wales and London, August or September?

Looking for direction about a good time to spend two weeks in Wales (Cardiff-Swansea area) and London. Early August, Late September? In between? Later???

I'd recommend after the schools go back then it won't be too busy, so about mid september, the weather is normally still ok and not too wet at that point!

i just read your other thread, it all sounds really interesting coming over here to explore family history :)

My parents always visit us here in the uk in sept. less crowds as stated above and the weather is generally quite good. August is vacation time and our motorways and roads get jam packed with people doing their summer vacations. So I would recommend sept.

Thank you so much! Looks like we'll book in mid september. Most schools here are back after the first weekend in September, later for UK?

The school return date in September varies from area to area, but for the vast majority it will be some time week commencing the 2nd September. So there's no need to wait until mid September to book.
