Wachau Valley
 

Hello. I’m finding some conflicting information about e-bike rental in the Wachau Valley. Last year, I did a bike ride from Melk to Krems. They were regular bikes that I rented in Melk and returned to the train station in Krems.

Does anyone know if this can be done with e-bikes? Just hoping to find an answer or guidance. I’d like to bike the opposite side of the river next month, but some of the people probably wouldn’t make it on a regular bike.

Pretty sure you could do this with Wachau Explorer who are based in Krems. So you could get the train there from Vienna and then pick up an e-bike and ride to the the valley from Krems, which only takes about 20 minutes
