Vueling flight GRX to BCN

Has anybody flew from Granada airport to Barcelona? If so how was the experience? Were they reliable and no lost luggage? I ask because I'm hearing not so good things about this airline.

Hi
We just flew Vueling in the opposite direction yesterday.
The flight left on time and no lost luggage!

The airline's fine. Besides, you don't have many choices. Only Iberia/Vueling flies from Granada to Barcelona.

There's a direct overnight 'trainhotel' sleeper train from Granada to Barcelona, city centre to city centre, a unique experience that saves a hotel bill and avoids an unnecessary flight.

It has very economical shared 4-berth tourist class sleepers (cama turista), 1 & 2 berth Preferente class sleepers with washbasin and 1 & 2 berth Gran Clase sleepers with toilet and shower, plus a cafe-bar.

You can book it at www.renfe.com or (perhaps more easily, in plain English) at www.loco2.com and print your own tickets.

Thanks Man in Seat 61. Good to know in case other emergency options are needed.

One of the problems with taking the overnight train from Granada to Barcelona would be the fact that you have to wait around until the train departs at 9.30 in evening. It makes 8 stops before reaching Barcelona and there is no restaurant, just the cafe-bar.
