vrbo 193562 - anyone stayed there?
 

Looking at this for an April visit - anyone stayed there by chance?

Haven't stayed there, but is a wonderful location.

Couple of just random thoughts . .

• If anything, that is a low rent for that flat in that location

• And looking at all flats this person lists on vrbo -- most have very few photos. When one is asking $200 - $300+ per night, they usually post all sorts of pictures/views. 8, 10 or more is not unusual.

Just seems a pretty amateur operation. Not necessarily a red flag or anything, but if I was paying £170 a night, I'd want to see more than those little pictures.

if you plug the property # into the vrbo site, you'll see where we are talking about.

If you click on the link for the 360 degree tour, there is a view into the bathroom, although it does not show the entire room.

The 360° view didn't work for me - apparently it shows more of the flat. That would make me feel better.

It's also offered through London Connection so it certainly looks legitimate as well as being a good looking apartment in a great area.

And now, a live, on-the-scene report from this apartment!
It is indeed a marvelous location - just off Berkeley Square in Myafair, a few minutes walk to Green Park tube station. Sixth floor with elevator, good size and nicely furnished. Pleasant living/dining (actually looks better than in photos on site) galley kitchen with recent modcons, everything you need, bathroom on the small side but very clean and more than adequate. Bedroom with good queen size bed, dresser and large wardrobe, plush washer/dryer combo. TV with basic channels, radio/tape/CD boom box, phone/fax and wireless internet that works quite well. Greeter warned that hot water heater sometimes cannot keep up with repeated long showers or baths but have not had a problem. There is some street noise during the day but nothing atrocious. All in all, quite a pleasant property for two.
