Ten days...

I don't know Belgium.

For early June I'd say 5 days Prague, and 5 days somewhere else, or 5 days SE England and 5 days somewhere else.
Both of those areas are at their best weatherwise in June, and crowds, esp. in Prague, not as bad as later in the summer.

I spent 5 days in Brussels once. It was, without question, the most boring trip of my life. That might just be a personal opinion but I wouldn't recommend it.

Prague is wonderful but small - I'd highly recommend it.

I was born & bred in the South of England so I'm afraid that I'm biased!

You could also include somewhere like Amsterdam or maybe somewhere in Italy. Flights are so short and inexpensive that you could do a couple of places.

I'd highly recommend Prague, depending on your definition of "cultural/historical" but I don;t think I'd spend 10 full days there...rather I'd try to combine it with at least one other destination.

Agree with Prague - and you might want to consider combing it with Budapest - both great cultural/historical desinations.

Given the existance of inexpensive flights from London to Prague you could do 5 days in S. England and 5 in Prague.

Early June would be the Derby at Epsom Downs and one of the practice parades for the Queen's birthday. Then a Eurostar trip to Brussels, a couple days in Belgium, then back to England.

Prague and the surrounding area - Cesky Krumlov, Dresden, Karlsbad (can't recall CZ name). While one of my favorite cities is Brugges, Pragueis one place I went were I missed it before I left the city limits.

The Fred & Ginger bldg, Mucha Museum, the Charles bridge, the Jewish quarter, the extensive Art Deco, the Cold War history, the Castle, and the pulse of the city. Remember, just 15 years ago they weren't able to read what they wanted, to write what they wanted or go when they felt like it. It had so much life to it.

Prague, definitely, but maybe not for the whole ten days. Cesky Krumlov, Kutna Hora, and/or maybe a couple of days in Vienna.
