Volabus - Genoa to Piazza de Ferrari
We plan on taking the Volabus from Genoa airport to the Piazza de Ferrari stop (Genoa city center, and the only non-train station stop). Purchasing tickets on line is a bit cheaper than on day of travel, however, am having a problem with my purchase. After inputing the date of travel, it's asking to confirm the time of travel. Prefer not to do this since there might be a delay in our arrival, which would affect the bus travel. Is there a way around putting in a specific time, or is it possible to still use the ticket for a different time, due to any travel delay. Not seeing an answer to this question on the Volabus website.

It may be like Trenitalia regional traim tickets bought online and you have to select a time window and travel within it.

I know a euro saved is a euro to spend on something else, but I'd probably just take a taxi for such a short distance. Rome2rio.com estimates the fare to be 20 euros.

No need to take a taxi. I just did this in March, and it couldn't have been easier. I don't know what you'd save by buying online ahead of time, but the ticket only costs 6 E buying onboard the bus. When I rode it, there were only 3 of us on the bus. The driver asked each of us where we were going, and dropped me off across the street from my hotel on V. Settembre, about a 1/2 minute walk from Pza. de Ferrari. He didn't even stop at the train station or the piazza because nobody needed to get off there.
