Visiting London: June or October??

What is the weather in London like in Late October? What about September? How about June? I'm trying to plan my honeymoon and i want to make sure i'm not going there at a bad time of year. Any advice would be most welcome.

I've been to London in June and October (twice) and I preferred October. We lucked out and had warmer weather in October. Don't know if this was just luck or normal. The crowds were also less in October. We went in early June through mid June. Toward the middle of June the crowds were getting a lot worse. If you do go in June go very early.

I have been to London mostly in OCt and Nov, once in March.I prefer Oct.The weather is a little more reliable, cool but not too..flowers are still blooming and beautiful..kids are back in school, the Opera and Ballet are starting up again...aaaahhhhhLondon~`

Speaking as a Londoner I can tell you that last October the weather was really chilly. June or September would be the best times, weather-wise and you'd be most likely to avoid rain - but to be honest, any kind of weather is considered 'normal' at any time of the year, here! If you get good weather in June, the atmosphere in London is 100% better that the rest of the time - people smile, are friendly, worry less etc. Shame it's not like that all year round!

I so agree with Annabel - go for June. We're due for a good summer (says the eternal optimist!!)
