Visit Budapest in late Jan and early Feb, any idea ?

Hello All,

I am planing to visit Budapest in the Winter time with my son, maybe in the coming Jan or Feb.

Will the weather be so cold (chilly) at that time? As I love to see the snow-falling and I don't know whether it will snowing or not.

Any outdoors activities suitable for kid?

Hope to hear your experiences.

Thanks in Advance,

Gavin

We spent 1/10/13 - 1/20/13 in Budapest and I did a trip report which you are welcome to, but at least for that time it snowed lightly but wasn't freezing cold, never bad enough that it stopped us from doing a lot of walking, and the nice thing was that there was vin chaud and hot chestnuts everywhere.
