Visas at the Istanbul Airport

Hi,

I've got a flight arriving into Istanbul at 1 am, and while I know you can get visas in the airport, I was wondering if this visa counter is open 24 hours or if it will be closed by the time I arrive. Anyone know the hours for the counter? I can't seem to find any information on the internet about it.

Can you tell me what currency they accept to get the visa?

They only accept cash US dollar or euro for visa (and sterling for British nationals). Pay $10 as euro equivalent is €15.
You must go to the visa windows first and pay for your visa before proceeding to passport check.

We will be in Istanbul for 1 day between flights to a tour in Israel, then again for 4 days after our tour. We will be on our tour for 8 days between the two visits to Istanbul. Will we need to buy a visa each time? Or is it possible to cover both visits with the same visa? Thanks!

Normal visa is valid for 90 days and is multi-entry so you shouldn't have any problem.

If you do it's another $20

your visa is multiple and valid 3 months.
