Visa to Europe

Hi everyone,
My name is Sophia. I am Vietnamese, yet I am now studying United Kingdom with a Tier 4 Visa. I plan to travel to other European countries in this X-mas holiday. Will I need some other kinds of Visa to go?
Many thanks,
Sophia

You would need to check the countries (or schengen rules) to see if they require a visa. Your visa for the UK is only valid for the UK and would have no bearing on other countries you visit.

You will need a Schengen visa. Contact the embassy of one of the Schengen countries you will be visiting for advice on how to obtain one.
You need to start now to be sure of getting the visa in time for you planned travel.

Expect to have to supply an itinerary, or round trip tickets, and proof of health insurance, sufficient funds (bank statement) and maybe even something from the college you are attending.
You will also need two passport photos.

Europe consists of 47 independent countries. 28 of them are part of the Schengen zone, the others are not. Everything depends on where in Europe you intend to go. You have to check the visa regulations of each country you plan to visit. The websites of the respective embassies will help you.
