Virgin Atlantic Flight Bomb!
 

Did you hear that a Virgin Atlantic flight from London had to land in Iceland because of a bomb aboard? This certainly will not help the travel industry.

I can't seem to find any info on that. Where did you read it?

Vita, I heard about it on CNN just this very minute!! But, they aren't saying much about it, only that there will be more details later. I don't think the plane blew up, it was evacuated safely. At least I think it was. Over 330 on board.

There was just some word on the t.v. that a Arab man was taken off of the V.A. flight in Ryckyvik. Everyone is safe thank God.

Just heard on Cnn that flight was from London to Orlando and that a threat meassage was left on the bathroom mirror in the rest room. Everyone is ok. there wasn't anything about a man being arrested though. Where did you hear this Grace?

Now this is something for those compaining about rude people in Europe..imagine how they would react to something really serious like this!

They say that it was a hoax.Someone wrote anti American threats on the bathroom window in soap...things about Americans must die...terrible that some moron would put people through that kind of experience after all that has happened.

If you do a search at tghe BBC you will find that this happened on the 18th of September! Has CNN just found out about it?<BR><BR>It was a bomb threat, not a bomb.

Does anyone else think it's high-time to install video cameras on planes?<BR><BR>For years now, I find cameras watching my every movement in airports, stores, traffic intersections, freeways, government buildings, train stations, some trains, some buses, etc. Why not have them on flights? Had there been one on this flight at least it could have pinpointed the last person to enter that lavatory before the threat. I don't see anything wrong with videotaping the activities on each flight.<BR><BR>
