Vineyard daytrip from Florence

My husband and I are going to be in Italy late June. The one thing he really wants to do is go to a vineyard. We will be in Florence for 2 days, so I figure a daytrip from there is our best chance. We won't have a car, so what are our best options?

S&D - The coach tour companies CAFTours and SITA do excursions to the Chianti area:

For a personalised tour this company was recently recommended here:

Hope this helps ...

Steve,

Thanks! I checked out the websites and I think the CAFTours looked great. Have you or anyone you know taken the Chianti tour?

Can take a bus to chiani en Greve (sp?) and then buy a pass that lets you into several local chiani wine houses for samples. Easy bus ride, frequent from Florence.

My wife and I took the CAF tour. We really enjoyed it. We would do it again.
