Villas in Tuscany
 

Does anyone know of any good websites for renting villas in the Tuscany region?

We used Tuscanynow.com which did a very good job. However, there are tons. Just search on "villa italy" and you will have more than you can read. Wonderful way to go. If you are looking for this year, you will find most are booked.

Try www.homeabroad.com. It's the site for a company called Vacanze in Italia, based in Massachusetts. They have a catalog of dozens of properties in Tuscany. We stayed outside of CAstellina in Chianti in a beautiful location overlooking the Chianti Valley. They are very helpful.

Untours is a terrific company that has Tuscan and other Italian region villas, as well as chalets in Switzerland, castles in Germany, and so forth. They can arrange your whole trip, if you like, and are very reasonable. Best of all, their profits go toward building businesses in developing countries. I haven't yet been to Tuscany with them, but they are a wonderful company to deal with. (www.untours.com) Have a great trip!

Try: www.theparkercompany.com <BR>My friend used them and I saw an ad in the wallstreet journal...tried it and ir looks great.,fairly reasonable villas....The site is very thorough, and shows pictures of the rooms...when available etc. We were in Tuscany in March/April of this year and would love to return someday...it is SO beautiful and wonderful!!!

A great source for information is www.cohenkenney.com/default.htm. This site lists lots of agencies and, best of all, has reviews from people who have stayed in the villas. Plus there is a message board and lots of information on Tuscany.

There are NO villas for rent in Tuscany!!

about 30 minutes from florence and 45 minutes from sienna is a great villa Castello di Bibbione. The grounds are beautiful, there is a pool it is decorated completely in antiques. There are several buildings on the grounds of different sizes but you will feel totally isolated.
