Villa Rosa or Bucca di Bacco in Positano?

My husband and I are going to Positano in early July and can not decide on a hotel. We are debating between Villa Rosa or Bucca di Baco in Positano. After reading reviews we love the fact that Bucca has airconditioning that works very well and the rooms are supposedly comfy and service is terrific. Our only hange up is that its located near the beach rather than up above. Villa Rosa looks like it has amazing views. I'm am worried that the rooms might not be comfortable or cool. Can anyone give us advice whether we should stay up in villa Rosa or Bucca di Baco

We loved the Villa Rosa and it does have amazing views. We were there in September and it was quite warm but the hotel was cool and pleasant.

We loved sitting outside on our private terrace and sharing the same view as the Hotel Sirenuse across the street.

I agree with Royal. I have stayed at Villa Rosa quite a few times and have also stayed closer to the beach. I vote for the view.

Another vote for Villa Rosa. I dream of returning there. The view is spectacular.

Yet another vote for Villa Rosa; I cannot imagine a more spectacular view of both sea and mountains.
