Villa Fiorita in Taormina
Hi everyone, please help me I have been phoning this hotel for the past 2 days with no response? I have faxed a request that I believe got through but still haven't heard back. Does anyone know more about this place or can tell me of their experiences there?

Our room was so tiny that two of us could not walk there at the same time. Bathroom was so old that toilet did not work properly and on our last night we could not use that darn thing at all. I had to go downstairs on the middle of the night. The worst thing was a smell in our room. They agreed with us and moved us to another room. This did not help. Just imagine a locker room with no ventilation. What a nightmare. We loved Taormina and had a great time regardless of our accommodation

Wow, thanks for those details. Now I understand your inital comment. It sounds like the property isn't well-managed or maintained; smelly rooms and a nonfunctioning toilet...evidence of owners who don't care much.
The wierd thing is some posters on this board really like this place. I know we all have different standards and opinions, but I can't imagine anyone choosing a hotel with non-working toilets and smelly rooms. Do you think it's that the rooms are that variable? Or that the setting of the hotel overcomes the lousiness of the rooms? I've noticed that the views are what most people mention when recommending this hotel.
