Villa D'Estrees in Paris
Has anyone stayed at the Villa D'Estrees in Paris (in the 6th) or know anything about it? The pictures look great and everything I've read seems nice, but any more information would be appreciated.

Hi A,
While waiting for responses, you can check www.tripadvisor.com and enter the hotel name in the "search this forum" box. ((I)) |
Check for posts by UNDERHILL, who was planning a trip to Villa D'Estrees sometime soon. And if you decide to go, please post back. The hotel, its price, and location all look wonderful!

We stayed there last September and the hotel, location, and price are all great. We have already made our reservations for next year. Located on a very quiet street in the Latin Quarter, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, etc close by in all price ranges. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, ST. Chappelle, Louvre, and Musee D' Orsay. The St Michel Metro station is only about 100 yards away. Rooms at the hotel are very nice - they look just like the website pictures. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the place and can't wait until we go back next year.

Thanks everyone. I've decided to stay there. I'll let you know how it is! BoulderCo, would you suggest eating breakfast in the hotel or grabbing it at another cafe?
|
All the hotel offers for breakfast is the typical French breakfast - basically just croissants. It is served in the lobby as the hotel does not have a restaurant. We went out for breakfast every day. There are a number of little cafes and brasseries nearby that serve a full American style breakfast.
