Villa Brunella

Fodorites -- you have convinced me that this is the place at which I should begin my honeymoon! I'd like to book but have a question -- is there much of a difference between the deluxe and standard rooms? We don't mind small, but we'd love a view and terrace. I ask because the difference in price is about 80 euros -- and, well, we're young and could stand to save a euro or two.

I know you will enjoy the Villa Brunella, no matter which room you choose. We stay in a deluxe which is truly immense, with a huge bathroom and terrace you could host a good sized party on. So a standard room should be of ample size and I believe all rooms at the hotel have a sea view. But you should definitely make sure that your standard room does have a sea view. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful and will be happy to assit you and answer any questions you have.

For Grinisa,

Would you recommend Villa Brunella over Luna? We're headed to Luna this summer, but Villa Brunella really sounds great.

Thanks!

Weadles:
Haven't stayed at the Luna but from seeing it several times and reports of others who have stayed there, I believe it is larger than the Brunella so not as "homey" and its location in town is a bit more bustling. As for rooms and amenities, it is probably very close to the Brunella, although some rooms at the Luna do not have a sea view. Not sure on the size of the rooms either. So if you want a room that is large, with a nice sized terrace overlooking the sea, in a quiet area with a friendly and helpful staff I would definitely choose the Villa Brunella. Also, it has a fantastic restaurant.

Grinisa -- thank you for your response. I will do exactly as you suggest. Now, any advice on how to make the time pass more quickly between now and July???? I can't WAIT!

Grinisa,

Thanks so much for the excellent advice! I just heard back from Brunella, and they do have availability for July. I only wonder if I'll love Capri as much as Positano...
