Vilebrequin bathing suits: Paris price please!

I find myself on the verge of caving in and buying a pair, but before I spend $155 for a bathing suit here in the U.S., I was wondering if I'd save much money by waiting until my next trip to Paris. Does anyone know?

I doubt if you'd save a penny... but you might spend more considering the exchange rate these days. There's a Vilebrequin shop in St. Rémy and I am boggled at the prices for a piece of cotton and some elastic.... i think I've seen customers in there exactly once in almost two years.

Thanks, Patricia. I was wondering if, since it's a French product, the price is lower in France.

I don't usually splurge on clothes, but I really have fallen in love with their cut and fabrics.

By the way, I was in the Bal Harbor (Miami) store yesterday, and an Asian tourist was buying several.

The last time I walked past the front window there was a child's suit on display...just ONE pair of boy's bathing trunks constituted the entire window display. They were priced at 130 €... so about $163.

I've been known to splurge...but on things like Chanel shoes and antique jewelry. I just don't "get" Vilebrequin - sorry ! LOL
