For Schönbrunn I'd reserve a whole day, including a tour of the palace, the carriage museum, the park, the Gloriette, the zoo...

Hofburg is right in the center of the city. Just walk in. Inside, you need an hour or two, depending on how interested you are.

For Belvedere, an hour maximum. Maybe some minutes for strolling through the park.

For Schönbrunn, two hours minimum. You can spend there four hours, if you want to go in depth. A whole day appears a little bit to much for my taste.

I think most people would spend between two and four hours in each, and perhaps more at Schönbrunn if one also visits the outside stuff.

If you don't like fine art, you can cut the Belvedere to an hour; if you don't care for history, you can cut the Hofburg and Schönbrunn to an hour each.

Schonbrunn is at least half a day - since there are guided tours that take quite a while indoors as well as extensive gardens. And - the Palace isn't in the center of the city. Two hours minimum for the Hofburg - Belevedere - a couple of hours or not.

Depending on the time of year you are visiting, I would suggest you get to Schoenbrunn right when they open as it can get crowded.

You can easily spend 2-3 hrs on the Palace, the grounds and the Gloriette. If you are interested in the Carriage Museum (worth it if you have the time) and/or the zoo, then add another 1-2 hours.

Located in the Hofburg are the Imperial Treasury, the Imperial Apartments and "Sisi Musuem", the Castle Chapel (Burgkapelle), the Spanish Riding School Stable and more. Again, you could easily spend hours depending on your interests.

Upper and Lower Belvedere would require several hours depending on your interest in art.

One thing I might add for your consideration while in Vienna is the Karlskirche (Karl's Church). It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Vienna and looks amazing either during the day or at night.
