What would you recommend for a weekend trip Vienna or Amsterdam? Thanks.

What are your interests and expectations for just one weekend?

Well, it depends what you're interested in, but for me it would be Amsterdam.

subjective question but Amsterdam hands down for me.

How old are you-makes a difference in Amsterdam sometimes- want night life or museums - Amsterdam's centrum is compact and easy to walk anywhere- Vienna I find sights more spread out.

You can't go wrong of course.

Vienna

Vienna is OK, I love Amsterdam, much funkier! and IMO the locals are more friendly.
