Vienna Musikverein Standing room
 

Hi, has anyone done the standing room tickets at the Vienna Musikverein lately? I thought the spots are not assigned but rather first-come-first-serve (recall reports of people tying their scarfs to the banister to secure their spots).

I was curious because I just bought a few standing room tickets via the Musikverein website, and the confirmation I got actually lists #s for our spots:
Row 1/81
Row 1/82
Row 1/83

Does that actually mean that they are now assigned spots? If they are, that means we don't have to get there super-early to secure our front row spots...

I guess I can always ask the ticket office when we pick up our tickets a few days in advance.

And no, those #s I listed didn't mean any assigned "spots". It's all first-come-first-serve.
