Video of sparkling Eiffel tower at night

Hi

My wife and I went to Paris in April and it was great to see the Eiffel tower sparkle for the first time. I shot this short video that I will use in my trip report: http://www.gardkarlsen.com/Paris2006..._sparkling.wmv . The video is about 1 mb so it should be downloadable :-)

I also found out that I can use Google Earth when making my trip reports. In the following picture I have posted the location of our hotel and some of the sights we went to and hopfully that can help first time visitors to understand where some of the attractions are located: http://www.gardkarlsen.com/Paris2006...rip_report.jpg

Hi

Yes Scarlett, it was a very nice sight :d I had heard about this sparkling before I went to Paris but I didn't know what it would look like...but now I know. We were even in the tower at night when it started blinking.

I had no problem downloading the video file but then couldn't play it. Any ideas what application might work (I'm on a mac if that makes a difference)

Thanks so much for sharing! It is indeed quite a site, and brings back lots of wonderful memories of our own Paris vacation.
