Victory tour or Battlebus Dday tour, which?
 

Going to schedule a Dday tour for April. Any opinions, info on either tour? Is one better than the other. Have you experienced either tour? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Are there websites for these tours? I'd comment if I could look at them as I've done such a trip.

I haven't done either yet, but in doing my research, I found very good comments about Battlebus and have already booked one of their tours for our trip later this year.

They are both highly touted on the TripAdvisor forum, so you may want to look there for people's comments. I believe the Victory Tours is run by one individual, so you may want to find out if he is available for your date in April - that may make the decision for you.

I did a 12 day tour so don't think I can comment.

We really liked the Battlebus tour. What made it more interesting was that we had a veteran of the Normandy landings on our tour!!...I will say though that I got pretty tired because of the length.

Did you do the one day or two? I just booked the one day, the American highlights. I think that will be plenty for me, anyway...
