Vettica, Amalfi
 

Going to be staying at Casa Jole, Vettica about 3kn from Amalfi. Has anyone been here or know Vettica? Your comments would be much appreciated-also any suggestions for things to do and see would be a great help.

Goggs - Things to see?

Here are a few for starters:

Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Capri, Pompei, Ercolano, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Paestum, Naples, Ischia, Montepertuso/Nocelle, 'Path of the Gods' (- hike), Solfatara, Caserta, Cassino ...

To name a few ...

Or from another viewpoint - both times I've stayed in Amalfi I haven't been to any of those places or indeed anywhere - just stayed put & enjoyed the views !

Is it possible to take a boat to Capri from Amalfi? If so whats a ball park figure for doing so and can you go 1st thing and come back last thing????

Goggs - You can go to Capri by hydrofoil or ferry from Amalfi.

Hydrofoil fare: € 14.50 each way.
Ferry fare: € 12.50 each way.
