Hi Scarlett

Yeah, I did leave out the part about my son being with me. Maybe we could split up in the late afternoon and then meet back for dinner.

Your comment about liking to sit and watch folks coming home from work and shopping for dinner fixings got me to thinking how much i enjoyed that time of day.

Yes, it is a good time to sit back and relish the freedom of watching others rush home or wherever ,while you enjoy a glass of wine and absorb Paris ~ Kinda makes you want to do it full-time, no?

Thanks for the suggestions - I will give them a try.

But I'm thinking now that "Happy Hour" as most Americans know it, really doesn't exist in Paris. Still, dusk in Paris is a special time and I will make the most of it.

Lots of bars/cafes in Paris have a "happy hour" that may consist of cheaper drinks, that isn't too hard to find. But finding one with free food is the problem.

I saw alot of signs in the windows of bars in the Marais for happy hour.Keep up your Joie de Vie. :)
