Versailles
 

Hello, I am looking fir a day trip from Paris to Versailles -first week in September - cost is approx $100 per person via bus which is a good hour! I have heard that lines are long so having a guide would be helpful!

Has anyone taken such a tour that was good!

You can take the RER C to within a few blocks of the palace and book your own timed entry and palace guided tours too. And be able to wander the vast park and grounds at leisure and also look around the neat regional town itself which few do. But guided tours are easier of course but you could see Versailles on your own easily too.
