Verona to Venice airport

Jump to last reply

I am planning on staying two nights in Verona and then going to Brussels (actually Bruges), the following day this June. I am finding flights from the Verona airport to be too long and/or too expensive (cheapest is $288, 13 hrs via Dublin, quickest is 3.5 hrs via Frankfurt for $1300 and everything in between.) However, there is a $42 direct Alitalia flight from Venice at 7:20 AM. Question: Would it be possible to make that flight from Verona that morning via train or taxi - if so, what would that cost? Or should I cut my stay in Verona to one night and then stay at a Venice hotel close to the airport the night before the flight? Thanks.
