Verona hotel Torcola or La Residenza Verona House

We are planning to make reservation in Verona. There is a trade show at the time we are looking for (beginning of June), so most of the hotels are already full. We stopped on two, but do not know which one to take Torcolo or La Residenza Verona House. Any recommendations and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I can recommend the Hotel Torcolo in Verona. It's a budget property (but with air conditioning) one block from the Arena, across the street from the upscale Hotel Colomba d'Oro. It's good value considering the extremely central location. You simply can't get any more central. It is a two-star hotel, with an elevator and 19 rooms, all with en-suite facilities.

We loved the Residence Verona House. Our room had a kitchenette and private bath. The location was good, as it is in the old central historical area of Verona, near the river and across the street from the Castle. The Arena is about a five minute brisk walk.

We spent 8 happy nights at Residence Verona House in May. My trip report has a very detailed description. You can find it by searching for Vendors in Venice, Valpolicella in Verona. Have a great time.

Thank you everybody. Do you know if waiting list is working in hotels?

We enjoyed 3 days/nights at Hotel Torcolo, and would stay there again. We were very comfortable in our room, the staff was very nice, helpful, and professional. The price was very good. And the location is excellent.
