Yes, quite. Getting it free from Hilton. There are no other Hiltons in Venice. Is that true about the stops? Lord, that would be quite a mess if we were there and the stops weren't. Can anyone furnish updated help?
By the way, we are arriving by train, but leaving by plane. That's why we need direction from train to Hilton, and from Hilton to airport. Thanks to all.

Ah well, if it's free, that's fantastic ! And the hotel boats into town seemed to run very frequently - they must have at least two.

As for getting back to the airport, you can check when you get there where the hotel boats stop - I daresay you can arrange to be dropped at the best stop for Alilaguna.

There's a thread
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showt...ghlight=venice
at Flyer Talk about this hotel.
Summary of that is that the airport trip can be 100E if by water taxi. You could take the free shuttle boat to San Marco and connect to a water taxi from there OR
try the “Alilaguna”, which transfers you from the airport to San Marco in about one hour. I believe it's only around 10eu/person.
The vaporetto ride to San Marco from the train atation is short,so I don't believe it's very expensive.
