Venice to Pisa?

After seeing Venice, want to travel to Pisa. What's better/easier way to go, train or car? Where should one stay in Pisa area - hotel or Tuscan villa? Thanks.

It's easy to get from Venezia to Pisa by train. You can check schedules on www.trenitalia.com.

If you have never been to Florence, I would recommend 6 hours or less in Pisa, as a sidetrip to 36 hours or more to Florence.

In any event, you have to go by way of Florence to get to Pisa.

Best wishes,

Rex
