Venice to Croatia
Sorry if this is posted twice...I can't find my initial post. I am going to Venice and have 9 full days. We plan on driving through Slovenia to Croatia. I would love to go to Lake Bled, Slovenia then drive down to Split and take a ferry to Hvar. Is this too much traveling? Should we just go to the Istrian peninsula. I don't want to miss out on anything b/c I don't know if we'll make it back to that area. Thank you.

Sorry I can't answer your question. |
No, it is not too much traveling.
Depending on when you are going, you may not even need reservations, which gives you enormous freedom to stay or go in any area you like. |
Depends on what you are actually doing. If you are slo intending to visit Venice and only want to spend 2-3 days there, perhaps it its ok. Are you planning to return to Venice to drop off the car and/or fly back to your home? If so, it's much too ambitious and you will spend too much time on the road.
In the event you are planning nine days in Croatia, then you should have enough time. You should note that the drive along the coast in Croatia is beautiful but relatively slow. |
We are planning on starting in Venice and driving to Split. However, we are flying home from Venice and have to get back there.
Is this too much travel? We only want to stay 1 night in Venice. Thank you for your responses. |
We are landing June 26th and returning to the states July 5th.
