VENICE OR POSITANO???

This is our first time to Italy and we are trying to finalize our September vacation plans. Got more time off of work and are spending 4 days in Rome and 5 days in Tuscany. We can't decide between Positano and Venice for three days. Both seem unique in their own way. Please help!!!!

Venice. Venice is truly a unique world treasure--there is nothing like it anywhere else in the world. Positano is great, and you would have a nice time there (we love the Amalfi coast), but there are many, many picturesque seaside towns in Italy, Europe and around the world.

There is only one Venice--so if unique is truly your criterion, then Venice it is.

It is quite a coincidence that two places I have been to in Italy are venice and positano.

Venice! Both because it is so wonderful and is unique and because it fits better logistically with your itinerary.

Hi liz,

You can see gorgeous scenery all over the world, but there is only one Venice.
