Venice Marriott Courtyard airport to city of Venice

We have reservations using rewards to stay at the new Marriott Courtyard at the Marco Polo airport. How feasable is it to commute into the city of Venice from there?

It's very feasible if you want to see Venice.

Hi W,

It's about 45 min by bus.

I personally can't imagine staying at any airport hotel if my goal is to see a city, but of all cities, Venice imoshould be experienced in town, not as a commuter.
If there is a Marriott in Mestre, at least that is commutable with a train that runs every 15 minutes or so for most of the day, and the ride is only about 15 minutes. Not my choice either, but better imo than staying at the airport.

This sounds like a plus and that is
over time there have been quite a few
questions on this board as to ways of
getting into Marco Polo for a very early
departure....Bukt certainly would not
pick to stay there if I could make reasonable connections getting from
a hotel in Venice to Marco Polo.

If you would stay at the Marriott your
most practical way of getting to and fro to Venice would be the waterbus, the
ATVO vaporetto takes about one hour
to reach the Piazzale Roma..rjv

Thanks Ellen! I was able to find other hotels that might be a better fit for what we want.
