Venice map

Does anyone know of a good online map streetmap for Venice? I would like one where I can input an address and it shows the exact location.

I am trying to pinpoint my B&B so that I have a good idea where it is (all the reviews say it's quite hard to find!). I will be arriving at midnight so and I want to print out a good map before I go so that ideally I'm not searching for it for too long.

Thanks for your help!

You can try maporama.com or mappy.com. I hope you buy a real map before you go, as the online ones can be wrong once in a while.

Where are you going? Other forum folks may be able to assist.

Good luck!

3 suggestions
1. Take the advice above and buy a Streetwise Venice map from your local bookstore or from amazon.com

2. Have your B&B give you explicit directions on how to get to them from the airport or train station (or however you are arriving)

3. Make sure your B&B knows of your late-night arrival; some of them won't have their front doors open or a staff member on duty at that hour

I think this is what you want - we found it invaluable in pinpointing our hotel which we'd have otherwise found very hard to find:

Re the link above - choose Venice Maps, street numbers on the left of the page.

Good morning sometimes locations shown for addresses on maps are incorrect would check with the B&B and have them fax or e mail you directions with a map reference... Richard of LaGrange Park Il..

Just a quick follow up to say thanks for posting all the helpful sites.

I know where I'm going based on the directions from the B&B. However, appreciating it'll be dark, late and unfamiliar surroundings and that I'd read about lots of people struggling to find the B&B even with directions, I thought I'd investigate a bit more.

Thanks again!

Try mapquest. Their maps are pretty accurate with street (canal) addresses.
