Venice in December

Any thoughts about Venice in Dec., Central Holidays packages and the Amadeus or Gardenia Hotels?
Thanks!

I would suggest that you look at other posts where informaiton has been shared about Venice in December. (note search field above). Also check out www.tripadvisor.com and type in the name of the hotel for reviews. You can also type in the name in the search field above to see if it has been commented on here.

We spent all of Dec last year in Venice. The weather was cold, but we had very little rain and only 2 days with any acqua alta. Some of the restaurants close for various parts of December - but there's still a huge number open and all of the museums etc are still open. It was very busy between Christmas and New Year - compared to earlier in December anyway!
