I know it took a few days to receive a reply for me. I have done a lot of research on this hotel, and I saw an email from Bruno (one of the people there) that they receive hundreds of emails per day. So have patience. From what I read, it is worth the wait! My fiance and I are staying there for part of our honeymoon.

Anyone who reads this old thread using the search function, might be interested in the news that in the meantime, you can pay via PayPal at the Rosa di Venezia apartment. I've done it, I've been there, and I found it a perfect place where we had a perfect holiday. Highly recommended (unless you prefer to have your breakfast served - the apartment is self-catering).

Guys... if you click on Franco's name and look at his post history, this was his first post ever, and many of his subsequent ones also mention La Rosa di Venezia. Sorry Franco, but I think you're the owner. I emailed back and forth with the owner of La Rosa di Venezia, and he was Austrian, and I saw that "Franco" also seemed quite knowledgable about Austria. The writing style in his posts and his emails to me were the same too. I'm not saying that his rental, La Rosa Di Venezia is bad, it's probably quite good, but I don't agree with posing as a happy customer to drive business toward your own property.

Well, maybe I was too hasty in making the above comment. I was reading through Franco's comments some more, and he does give a lot of helpful advice for people and only a few La Rosa Di Venezia comments, so Franco, I apologize. Maybe you really did stay at La Rosa di Venezia and like it so much that you want to recommend it to others.

Yes, of course, and if you click on my name and read my other suggestions, you'll find out that I'm the owner of the Coccorone restaurant in Montefalco, Umbria, too, and of the Gritti hotel in Venice, and of several restaurants in Venice and in Rome, and the Orto degli Angeli hotel in Bevagna; in fact, I'm owning half of Italy! LOL*
No, seriously, I'm just recommending some of my favourite places in Italy here, and I think that's what everybody should do here. And btw, as you seem to be such an expert criminalist, have you looked at the day times when I'm usually posting? Do you really think I'm living in Austria? Well, I'm really sorry for the owner of the Rosa di Venezia apartment that he is being suspected here due to my posts, and I'd like to ask his forgiveness - one of my fav's simply had to be the first I was telling about on this forum, and "unfortunately", I've chosen this apartment, as I really love it. Quite many people here have told my advice (not only, and not primarily on Venice!) was really helpful for them, but if I'm being suspected (or even worse, if another one, the owner of this apartment, is suspected thanks to my presence here), I might think it over if it is worth spending my time here.

We've now criss-crossed posts, and I see that you've already detected that I'm not exclusively posting on Venice (or Austria). I accept your excuse.

Thanks Franco... that's what happens when I post too early in the morning. Sorry for the inconvenience!
