We really liked the Hotel Galleria, located right at the foot of the Accademia Bridge. We stayed there in Sept 2005 in a huge room (#10) which overlooked the Grand Canal. They brought breakfast to the room each morning, and it was so much fun eating at our little table and watching the morning's traffic go by on the canal. We paid 155 euro/nt.
