venice hotels

Has anyone stayed at any of the following hotels in Venice: al Piave, Hotel Campiello, Villa Albertina, or hotel paganelli.

francophile03 Jan 19th, 2004 02:26 PM

I believe so.

Very funny francophile :-)

Maybe this was the point that francophile03 was trying to make:

For Piave, just as one example, here are at least 50 mentions here:

And so forth for Campiello, Albertina, Paganelli.

It's as important to teach newcomers to help themselves as to to find info for them. Of course, the pedagogy of francophile03 leaves a bit to be desired.

And if I knew anything about these personally, I would offer it. But I don't.

Best wishes,

Rex

Excuse me Rex, regarding my pedagogy, I have explained the search function here many times.

Since you have mentioned pedagogy, I notice your pedagogy regarding misspelled words goes beyond obsession.

Francophile,

You may have explained the "search" many other times but that doesn't mean that a new person has seen your email. It reminds me of my grandfather when he'd gotten quite old. He was annoyed with Trick or Treaters and told a bunch that they weren't welcomed at his house. 30 minutes or so later, another group came, he told them, "Didn't I just tell you that you weren't welcomed here?"

Be patient, anyone can ask whatever questions they want...I never read any official rules that said people HAD to make searches before asking a question.

Hi,
My neighbor and dear friend stayed at the Paganelli and said it was wonderful.
Good luck,

Hi Bob. If you type any of these names in the box above that says "search this forum" you'll find previous threads with comments. One frequent poster here, Fluffy, had a bad experience at Al Piave recently (bad room, didn't like the owners etc). To find her trip report try typing Fluffy AND trip report. Otherwise I think most people think it's ok.

There's another current thread titled "budget hotels in Venice" (or something like) that may be of interest to you.

Here's the thread I meant with a mention of Campiello.

sorry!
