Venice hotel in the movie, "Summertime" c.1955

Hi, there.

Does anyone happen to know the name of the Venice hotel where Katherine Hepburn's character stayed in the movie "Summertime"? It's always looked wonderful to me.

Thanks.
Kim.

This might come up if you do a search on Movies, because I think someone noted it -- If I remember correctly, it may have been either La Fenice or L'Accademia

It is the Accademia. I think you will need to reserve quite a long time before your trip. It is lovely! Boots

Hi Kim,
I think it's the Pensione Accademia. They have a new website! And guess what! I'm staying there for a week in September! I'm so excited - I've wanted to stay there for ever. When my sister and started thinking about this year's trip, I immediately called for a reservation (it was like, 9 months in advance). search for them on the web.

You just topped a 12 year old post. I think the trip happened long ago.
