Venice hotel help today, please!
 

Has anyone stayed in the Locanda Fiorita or the little Locanda San Trovaso? Thanks for info.

Sorry if you needed this info yesterday. In March 1997, I stayed at the Locanda Fiorita. Not sure what you want to know ... the location is quiet and nicely situated (3 mins to Accademia bridge/museum/vaporetto stop & 10 mins to St. Mark's, etc.). Also, the hotel is (or at least was) run by a very sweet family. Without knowing what type of hotel you like or require, it is difficult to gauge whether it's suitable for your needs. Our room was a nice size, very clean, and had a shower (others have the down-the-hall setup). There is one room that is on a second story with its own small patio. Due to bookings, we were moved there the last night and it was even better. <BR> <BR>Breakfast is typically light but tasty ... homemade bread and jams as well as delicious hot chocolate and coffee. <BR> <BR>Please email me if you would like any other information. stayed at locando san trovaso last october. it is a newly renovated place with seven rooms. forget the breakfast. no views, but pleasant enough. friendly people, i'd stay there again. +/- L200000 per notte.
